Historique :	Ce tableau représentant l'approbation de la règles de l'ordre des carmes par le pape Honorius III en 1226 est attribué au peintre toulousain Jean-Baptiste Despax (1709-1773) et proviendrait de l'ancien couvent des carmes déchaux de Perpignan, d'où il aurait été transféré après 1790. Tableau réaccroché dans la cathédrale en 2012. Ce tableau est aussi répertorié sous le titre 'Saint Ignace remettant la règle aux Jésuites'.
