Historique :	Dans les années 1950, le curé de Caudiès décide de faire confectionner deux couronnes en or en utilisant les bijoux offerts comme ex-voto à Notre-Dame de La Val. La Vierge est couronnée le dimanche 12 septembre 1954, par l'abbé Gabriel, curé de Caudiès, en présence de Mgr Bernard, évêque de Perpignan-Elne. En 1960, a lieu une deuxième cérémonies, pour le couronnement de l'enfant Jésus.
