Historique :	Pierre de Fornols est mort en 1313 et son épouse Ferraria est morte en 1334. Ce marbre était primitivement encastré dans le mur du clocher, à ras de terre. Un cloître occupait en effet, depuis le 14e siècle, l'espace entre le clocher, situé au Sud-Ouest et le mur méridional de l'église du prieuré. La date de 1333, portée dans le texte, correspond en réalité à l'année 1334, si l'on tient compte du fait que, jusqu'à l'ordonnance du 15 décembre 1350, rendue à Perpignan par le roi d'Aragon Pierre IV le Cérémonieux, l'année commençait le 25 mars, en Roussillon comme en Catalogne.
