Historique :	Oeuvres remaniées au 19e siècle. Remontage d'éléments divers. Les statues de Luc, Marc et Mathieu proviennent d'un autre retable. Les médaillons des panneaux du soubassement qui relatent la Vie de saint Dominique invitent à ramener dans ce retable et sans doute dans la niche supérieure, la statue de saint Dominique placée dans le retable d'une face, dédié à saint Nicolas. Quant aux niches latérales, elles devraient recevoir les statues de Zacharie et d'Elisabeth, parents de Jean, elles aussi exilées dans l'autre retable.
