Historique :	Provenant du prieuré de Marcevol. Ce retable fut peint en 1527 par Jacques Forner (quittance du 29 mai 1527), avant le départ de cet artiste pour Barcelone où il devait laissé une Oeuvre importante. A la même date du 29 mai 1527, il s'engagea à fournir une Vierge pour le retable. Les peintures de la partie supérieure doivent avoir été repeintes tardivement (trois panneaux sans valeur : la Crucifixion, au sommet, saint François et saint Gaudirique, disposés latéralement).
